@BlameItOnRyen If Marathon wasn't an extraction Shooter i could 100% guarantee more people would play it if it was along the lines of how destiny has been. PvE with full Story/ raids etc and then have the Extraction Shooter side of things for the PvP community to replace Trials/IB/Crucible.
@giancar73012035@AW_Glace Forget the Player numbers just look at the chart, Marathon has been on a downward spiral since launch, only reason why its up now is because its free to play for the week and a new update, once the free week is up those numbers are going to drop again.
@SpecterGr1d@Hahndog89@PaulTassi You are totally clueless! Marathon started Development in 2019, Sony didn't buy Bungie until 2022 so yes the funding DID come from D2
@SpecterGr1d@PaulTassi "Bungie generates an estimated $15 million to $25 million in revenue per month from Destiny 2. However, because the game operates on a "live service" model, this revenue fluctuates significantly based on expansion launches" How much has Marathon made over the past 3 months??
@Bugzvii What are talking about? Marathon will NEVER have numbers Like Arc Raiders. Marathon hasn't even passed its 88K all time peak since launch week, the game is still free to play this week and you still can't get past those numbers.
@Turtle_Proxy Marathon only has those numbers because its a free week, just wait until next week and you will drop back down to the 4-8k players average the game has been sat at since launch.
So the all time Peak for Destiny 2 is 316,750 on Steam alone, If we can get over this amount on June 9th it will be one of the greatest moments Destiny 2 has ever seen and will be one of @Sony biggest loses for pulling the plug. #Destiny2#Bungie#SaveDestiny2#WeWantDestiny3
@Destiny2Team What is going to happen to Armor Synthweaves and Sythesis Bounties in Game? These where limited per season but now with no seasons anymore are they going to be gone?
