Sorry I've vanished into thin air guys! I've been working two jobs and saving up to pay for next semester
I'm wishing everyone so much peace love and pride ๐๐๐๐
It's so lovely to finally have a place that's my own!! Not having the threat of homelessness from only living in campus is so comforting. I can breathe again.
Time to get through these last few days of the semester and get back to the good work.
This little library made me a reader, and then a writer. Within its walls, I only heard โYes.โ Yes, check out as many books as you can. Yes, read to understand the world and yourself. Celebrating libraries as cornerstones of both democracy and humanity, this week and always. โค๏ธ
I am officially running for West Virginia House of Delegates District 88, which covers certain areas of Hampshire and Mineral Counties. Follow along with me as I spend the next year going door-to-door, listening to the issues we all ACTUALLY care about.
BTW!! This part of the year as a whole is very stressful, so I'm going to be trying to be extra positive in this space!! :D
If anyone wants to talk about anything, please let me know :)
Today my favorite little humanity I witnessed was a group of people stopping to look at suncatchers in a shop window for a little.
It reminded me of the protect trans kids rally we had at the capitol many thursdays ago when, at the end of the day, specks of rainbow light bloomed
What's your favorite little kindness that's happened this week?
Mine was when I was in Women's and Gender Center on campus and when I asked where an outlet was, someone offered me their seat so I could charge my phone.
It made my day just a little better!! :D
It's really interesting trying to both be honest to yourself on a platform like this, while also understanding that my goal is to be positive and uplifting and connect with the community.
Sometimes I want to vent and be angry and upset, but I think it's better for me to smile :D
