All you need to know is that this guy had all 4 teammates (& some girls team members) show up all week to prepare for semi-state. He ran an incredible race that was :04 from a career PR. Thank you for representing your Bluejacket Family so well! It has been an honor, Adam Oster.
Bringin’ home the hardware!

Jr High boys brought home third place!
My thoughts go out to all the Gannett journalists being laid off today. Company did a $100M stock buyback in February and pays their CEO $7.5M a year but somehow struggles to afford the journalists already on its payroll.
I left my 25-year journalism career in January 2021, but I still care about local journalism, my community newspaper and the fabulous journalists who were cut today by @Gannett. Remember, there are opportunities that exist for all of you elsewhere. This is not on you. It’s them.
“Also I looked through the reviews to see if there were males. One review was saying how tasty their chinchilla was so I am now traumatized. I deserve an emotional support chinchilla now.” And that’s the story of how our son got a chinchilla. #kidssay#parenting@Todaysparent
My 11-year-old son wants a chinchilla. He created a 20-slide Google Slide pitch on the pros, cons, costs, etc., and presented it to his father and I in a very well written, persuasive piece worthy of a college assignment. But it was the last two sentences that sealed it … (1)
Final/6: Mitchell 12, Springs Valley 2
Dawson Glassco shoots a fly ball over an inward shifted center fielder and pimps it down the first base line as the Bluejackets win via run rule. Mitchell's 2-2 now, 1-0 in the PLAC. Valley's also 2-2, but 0-1 in the PLAC. @TimesMailSports
Uncomfortable truth: All those griping about worker shortages created the problem when they decided, as parents, their kids are “too busy” to have jobs. If you don’t teach the importance of work, then you’re going to have a generation that … doesn’t know the importance of work.
I’m always struck by how poignant it is for your 18 yo to register w the #SelectiveService. Today it’s 5 minutes and you don’t think about it again, but imagine what it meant in 1966. It’s a good reminder not to take peace for granted.
FINAL: North Posey 3, @MHSbluejackets 0
The 'Jackets put up a fight in the third set, but it's not enough as they fall 25-20. They end the season with a 25-7 record and a sectional title on their resume. @TimesMailSports
