In a&e with a toddler who’s breathing stats are poor and a temp nearing 40

But it’s an 8 hour wait to see a doctor

So I’m sat in a room that’s boiling hot no ventilation with 20 odd other sick children and they won’t let us go home! 🤯😡

@Brett_Dakin it was the fact that I was sat on the floor with a poorly toddler next to a bin that hadn’t been emptied, there where children vomiting and screaming constantly, the room was way too hot
Was not a nice environment for anyone there
Saw my gp quicker than a&e doctor could see us
