Families and teachers here are opposed to the:
•Closure of Rhodes Middle School
•Moving Rhodes students to Tafolla
•SAISD’s potential partnership with Third Future Schools for Hirsch, Ogden and Tafolla
The San Antonio ISD board is set to meet at 5:30pm on Monday, March 23 to vote on closing Rhodes Middle School and partnering with Third Future Schools. We will be streaming the meeting on KSAT+.

SAISD: Board meeting tonight at 5:30pm. Final vote on closing Rhodes Middle School expected tonight. For anyone who wants to speak, you have to sign up prior to 5:30pm.
SAISD: Rhodes Middle School will close at the end of this school year. Students will be moved to Tahoka Middle School.
Bond funds that were allocated for Rhodes and Carvajal (another school closing) will be used to design a “state-of-the-art facility for that community”.
New Judson ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Robert Jaklich is at tonight’s special board meeting.
The board will vote to close three elementary schools tonight.
