I've been diving for 30 years. Rescue and deep dive certified. These divers were effectively dead the moment they went in the water.

At 150 feet, with recreational gear and without special gas mix, you're already dead.

I'm an absolute madman adrenaline junkie. My hard floor is 120 feet. There was no possible way they were coming back, whether they panicked or not. That dive plan was never going to end with any of them alive.

Il corpo di Gianluca Benedetti, l’unico recuperato finora, è stato trovato con la bombola completamente scarica nella seconda delle tre cavità sommerse.

Questo elemento rafforza l’ipotesi investigativa secondo cui il gruppo avrebbe perso l’orientamento o sarebbe rimasto bloccato all’interno della grotta fino all’esaurimento dell’ossigeno. Gli altri quattro dispersi — Monica Montefalcone, Giorgia Sommacal, Muriel Oddenino e Federico Gualtieri — si troverebbero probabilmente nella terza camera della grotta, ancora più profonda.

Le operazioni di recupero restano estremamente complesse a causa delle condizioni meteo e della conformazione della cavità. Intanto la Procura di Roma e le autorità maldiviane hanno aperto indagini per chiarire le cause dell’incidente, mentre l’Università di Genova ha precisato che l’immersione non rientrava ufficialmente nel progetto scientifico finanziato dall’ateneo

Ok this is weird to me and I’m going to heavily caveat this with I’m not a diver nor doctor (but would love if others chimed): but what?? This guy is supposed to be a skilled rescue diver who is in the prime of his life. The deceased who he was trying to recover included a literal diving instructor / boat captain who looks like this and a woman & her daughter who were apparently rather risk adverse to diving and had a lot of experience. These are young, healthy, experienced divers or people who often go on dives… I initially thought maybe their tanks all failed around the same time (for some reason), but the Maldivian diver’s issue makes me question this.… Is there anything special about the area itself? Like is there anything down there near or in the cave (underwater volcano or whatever) that could be changing the concentration of gases in a way that would cause this. Because I’m actually really confused by this one.

It’s also just possible the Maldives diver randomly got sick, but he looks young and healthy.

Ce que je veux dire c’est que pour le moment Lamborgini n’a pas encore essayé de vendre une voiture radicale limitée à 500 exemplaires comme Ferrari le fait.

Le jour ou Lamborghini dit : voici notre meilleure Supercar limitée à 500 exemplaires pour x millions de $ et le carnet de commande est déjà plein à la commande, alors on pourra comparer à Ferrari.

J’ai l’exemple en tête de la Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 limitée à 40 exemplaires lancée en 2022 dont certains exemplaires sont sur le marché de l’occasion et dont certains ont perdu jusqu’à 1 million d’euros. À côté de ça le propriétaire de la dernière Ferrari F80 dit qu’il a déjà gagné 1 millions d’euros.

By April 1945, Hitler was hiding 8 meters underground in a concrete bunker beneath Berlin. The Soviet army was 500 meters from his door. He was 56. After years of drug injections from his personal doctor, his left hand shook so badly he could barely sign his name. He had not seen daylight in 105 days.

April 20 was his birthday. He went up to the garden behind his headquarters and handed medals to boys from the Hitler Youth who were fighting Soviet tanks. It was the last time he saw the sun.

April 28: Hitler had Eva Braun's brother-in-law Hermann Fegelein, an SS general, shot in the garden for trying to flee Berlin in regular clothes.

April 29, just after midnight: Hitler married his longtime girlfriend Eva Braun. The ceremony was 10 minutes. She started writing her old last name on the marriage certificate, caught herself, and wrote "Hitler" instead. They served champagne afterward.

Later that afternoon, Hitler dictated his will. Then his doctor tested a cyanide pill on his German Shepherd Blondi. Her puppies were shot afterward.

April 30 at 3:30 PM: Hitler bit into a cyanide pill and shot himself in the right temple. Eva took cyanide alone, sitting next to him on the couch.

Their bodies were carried up to the garden, soaked with 200 liters of gasoline (about 4 full car tanks), and set on fire. Soviet soldiers captured the parliament building that same afternoon, 500 meters away.

💰L’ingénieur océanographe Tommy Thompson, âgé de 73 ans, vient de retrouver la liberté après une décennie passée derrière les barreaux pour avoir refusé de livrer le secret de son trésor.
