Sometimes, love just can't wait.💕
Our NICU team came together to make dreams come true for two incredible parents recently. Peata and Ash were married on Alligator ward, with a very special best man at their side:

It's only Tuesday and we've already completed two transfers this week! 🚁🚨 With one in the North yesterday and one in the South today, we have completed these transfers in rapid time. Today's flight took just 11 minutes, by land this journey would have taken two hours! ⏱️💚
Storm is our little NICU graduate who was born at 25 weeks and is going back to local unit. Such a pleasure to clap him with all staff cheering as he leaves us today. We wish him and family a lovely forward journey. @GhadaNICU@FelicityBrokke@Santosh04552857@SuzanneThake
While we are still in a National Lockdown, please remember to do your bit to stop the spread of #Covid19.
Wash your hands, cover your face and make space.

When your job for the day involves driving from Kent to Sussex and then Surrey in the snow you really appreciate the Highways England teams keeping the roads safe for our little babies. Thanks you @HighwaysEngland @NHSuk@SECAmbulance
Collaboration at its finest today. Our @KssNeonatal Sussex team were please to assist the @Nestteam1 today who transferred a baby from Bristol to Brighton with @ChildrensAirAmb significantly reducing the transfer time for the baby.
👏 We want to give a MASSIVE shout to all our unsung #NHSheroes, including housekeepers and porters! Doctors and nurses might be the most visible face at a hospital, but there are thousands of other staff behind the scenes who are playing an integral role right now. Thank you! 💙
NHS staff look after others: they must also look after themselves. Mental as well as physical health is important during this potentially stressful time. This helpline, staffed by trained volunteers is there for everyone who works for the NHS.
