@qcoding@qcoding@tobhae I’m not sure about static cells in IB, but the cell dequeued from the table view is not in the view hierarchy yet. Try invoking tableView.addSubview(cell) before becoming first responder.
Adding the cell subview is performed by the table view under the hood.
I realized that for me, the most important part of business is being able to sleep with the feeling of having done my best work and with a clear conscience. I’m sure we could make lots more money if we’d let go of these things, but I hope I’ll never have to.

There is also a plugin that measures how the changes in the PR affect the code coverage. You can give it a try by running pip install danger-py-cov. The README is located at: https://t.co/X4kV47m8aN
With the help from @orta and support from @elpassion I’ve shipped the initial release of the @DangerSystems Python runner. If you want to write Dangerfiles in Python 3.7, just pip install danger-python and give it a try ☺️ The code is hosted at: https://t.co/Ciyvgz9vnY
The third article of my writing testable iOS code series is out. Read about implementing code in a bottom-up (functional) approach - https://t.co/gltSvg6Bd6
Functional programming is not esoteric, theoretical, academic, obtuse, inefficient, or inaccessible. It is simple, obvious, approachable, and elegant.
Embrace it as part of your regular programming toolkit. Combine it with OO and structure.
Language is secondary.
The second article of my series on writing testable iOS code is live! Check out how to approach the TDD for the 1st time while building real-life iOS code: https://t.co/SRY004WrFY

Me: Dad, there's a medical emergency happening
Dad: Go and see if `rm -rf ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData` helps
