New release of Kubetail is out (helm/v0.16.1). It includes a patch for CVE-2024-25621. Upstream vulnerability doesn't appear to affect Kubetail users directly but it's marked as HIGH severity so we wanted to patch it ASAP regardless.
New release of Kubetail is out (cli/v0.9.0, helm/v0.15.3). This release fixes performance issues when viewing 100's of workloads in the web dashboard. The new dashboard uses less resources than previous version (50% less CPU on demo site). https://t.co/sVR8xTzUmt
The most recent version of the dashboard frontend (cli/v0.8.x, helm/v0.15.x) is having performance issues dealing with 100's of workloads. Working on a fix now.
New release of Kubetail is out (cli/v0.8.2, helm/v0.15.2). This release includes our new tiny Rust-based cluster agent and a dashboard UI upgrade. We wrote a blog post with more details on the Rust migration: https://t.co/hIYnGnlvnC

Recently I had the opportunity to participate in @OpenCoreVenture's Catalyst program led by Alex Smith and I found it incredibly helpful. I'd recommend it to any other open source maintainer. If you'd like to read more about it, here's a blog post from OCV about @kubetail
Creator of @Kubetail and YC alum Andres Morey: "Open source is having its Internet moment." https://t.co/0pGDsdqQm3
His latest project, @Kubetail, is a lightweight, browser-based logging dashboard for Kubernetes. He recently completed OCV's Catalyst program, increasing the project's popularity from 300 to over 1,300 stars on GitHub, and expanded the number of contributors from 3 to 34 people.
