@Mister_MDM@AdamGell Hi Rudy,
Thx for the great explanation..we see some of the device since the new IME Update, the error sync issue 0x80072efe code. It's this also regarding the incident?

- Will these devices still become Entra ID joined if this setting is enabled?
- Will the devices still receive device configuration policies and Company Portal–deployed Win32 applications after being connected in this way?
@Mister_MDM@TheBigBearUK@IntuneSuppTeam@MSIntune I would like to clarify whether this setting “Disable MDM enrollment when adding work or school account on Windows” also affects BYOD devices?
Specifically, if users sign in with a local account and then go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school to connect their device?
@WindowsLatest Pls tell us, if the feature will be enabled also in enterprise environment? If yes, tell us also how we can turn off the feature via settings catalog in intune?!!!? @IntuneSuppTeam
Thx!!
@Mister_MDM Would it be possible to implement a compliance policy proactive remediation in Intune to monitor the renewal status of the Microsoft Intune MDM device certificate?
@Mister_MDM — am I correct that in this case the certificate can no longer be renewed, and the device would permanently lose its MDM connection (requiring re-enrollment)? (3)
@Mister_MDM Can anyone confirm if this renewal really happens during a regular device sync cycle?
And what happens in the scenario where a user’s device has been powered off or offline until after the certificate has expired. (2)
@Mister_MDM Hi Rudy,
Did I understand this correctly?
If the feature is not enabled via policy, I won’t be able to use it?
Is the feature disabled by default?
