“You have to understand one thing about Sanju Samson. When runs don’t come, there are two reasons, mentally things are not right, or there is a technical issue. I noticed both. Everyone can see the mental side. Sanju was never a consistent player, but when he became consistent, he scored runs, three hundreds in just a few innings.

After that, he was asked to bat lower because someone else came in. We gave credit to selectors for Ishan Kishan, but then we also have to give selectors responsibility for Sanju Samson going out of form. Roles and clarity matter a lot.” [Irfan Pathan YT]
