A PSA: do NOT download the White House app. It is doing something very weird with the sandbox permissions you give it. Which I’m not sure yet, but is likely against every service term and developer agreement on earth. I downloaded it so you don’t have to onto an air gapped old iPad. It is phoning home, asking for way too much personal data, and attempting to bypass location services permissions. Aside from the propaganda, it’s a security nightmare.

Sadly this is not just a stupid name change, it's because Google sold their Fiber Internet service to a private equity firm and are subtly rebranding. Google has kept the prices for its (excellent) service the exact same for over 10 years. Now, we'll see.

As an artist, i put a lot of time, heart, and care into building my own unique branding from scratch. Unauthorised ai stuff like this is a growing problem across the industry, as it devalues the time and skill creators invest into original art :c

Designing something that is truly yours from the ground up can be such a rewarding process, and it avoids taking someone else's effort. i just want my work, and the work of all creators, to be respected. Please.
