Dear Martian Community,

A significant supply chain attack has been identified in the NodeJS/Javascript ecosystem over the past few days, and as many crypto platforms we engage with rely on these tools, it’s essential we stay informed and proactive.

Understanding the Situation

A supply chain attack involves malicious code being covertly embedded into widely used developer tools, libraries, or packages.

Rather than targeting a single platform or blockchain, attackers compromise the foundational components developers rely on, potentially affecting any application built with this tainted code.

Affected Areas
This issue does not directly impact blockchains or wallets but targets web applications built with NodeJS or Javascript.

This includes:
- Centralized Exchanges (CEXs) with browser interfaces
- Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs)
- Web-based dApps, particularly those using React

Until a platform officially confirms it has rebuilt its application with secure, updated code, there remains a potential risk.

I recommend avoiding these platforms via browsers until official statements are released.
