We are expecting Mr. President to do power business with Ethiopia. Power is an important factor for investment either by local or international investors.

Wars are waged , that's okay ,but destruction of social amenities such as hospitals, schools and any other health facilities is completely against the rule of wars. Hospitals are very important for both parties on the battlefield.
This is a bad one!

@abul_majur Dear Abul Majur Dak,
Please save yourself from all these by quitting these platforms for some time. I am trying to imagine the pain that you are going through and surely it's unbearable. These streets do not have people anymore,these are beasts dressed in human clothes. Be safe.
@abul_majur By this emotive statement, you get answers which some of them give you more reasons to remain single.
Anyway,if that's the case, then let the winners continue to win.
Our heritage is our strength. Tourism is our treasure.
Let us build our tourism sector to benefit local communities, protect our environment, and share the beauty of South Sudan with the world.
Today, Vice President Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel convened a strategic meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Hussein Abdelbagi Akol, and Deputy Minister Hon. Lily Albino Akol to chart the way forward for a national agricultural renaissance.
At the heart of the discussion was the upcoming National Agriculture Conference and the bold declaration of 2025 as the Year of Agriculture - a milestone agenda that will anchor South Sudanโs journey toward food security, economic resilience, and prosperity for all.
The Agriculture Conference will bring together all relevant officials from the national and state governments, industry players, international investors and officials from neighbouring countries to craft practical, people-first solutions and initiatives.
The Vice President reiterated His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayarditโs Government's full commitment to transforming agriculture into a pillar of national development. He stressed the importance of collective action across all stakeholders and local communities, calling this โa defining moment for our nation.โ
The meeting also reviewed the countryโs readiness for the 2025 farming season, with a focus on the timely distribution and deployment of agricultural inputs and machinery. Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel was particularly pleased to learn of the arrival of several new tractors which will soon be deployed to key agricultural zones.
The Vice President emphasized the need for action - not just policy. Action that will put seeds in the hands of our farmers, food on the tables of our families, and strength in the economy of our young nation.
This is a call to every South Sudanese - from the villages to the cities - to rally behind agriculture, to work the land with pride, and to stand together with the Government in building a future where no child goes hungry and every farmer thrives.
Let us plant today for a stronger tomorrow!
Congratulations to HON Stephen Par Kuol on winning the trust of the SPLM -IO cadres as their interim chairperson in place of Dr. Riek Machar Teny. Mr. Par is to hold the position of the chairmanship on an interim basis until Dr. Machar's house arrest is lifted .
