Graduates camp outside Department of Agriculture offices requesting re-employment after they were unfairly dismissed.

On Tuesday, unemployed graduates set up a camp outside Department of Agriculture in Pretoria to hand over memorandum asking for re-employment.

They are saying they will camp outside until the Minister Thoko Didiza and President Cyril Ramaphosa respond to their memorandum and demands.. They are requesting for re-employment of more than 4000 Assistant Agricultural Practitioners. Their contracts was terminated regardless of the 3 years sustainable contract promised to AAPs who met the following criteria, Registered with SACNASP and Not currently a beneficiary of any government grant

They are reportedly being chased away by Metro police.
