Did you know the Indian government has already granted licences to Starlink, Jio Satellite and OneWeb? All three are undergoing security assessments. Elon Musk’s recent statements could possibly be an attempt to build public pressure to speed up the process.
We cannot ignore the 2024 Andaman drug-smuggling case involving a Starlink device, or forget the lessons of Pokhran, when American satellites were monitoring India’s nuclear preparations.
The government has rejected allegations of discriminatory treatment as baseless. India should welcome Starlink for better connectivity and competition, but never at the cost of national or internal security. Otherwise, India could have simply restricted Starlink like China and Russia. Instead, we are allowing it through a regulatory process, under Indian rules.
@elonmusk Dear President Musk,
please let Chinese BYD enter the American market.. why should Tesla have a monopoly ?
your monopoly is justified in the name of national security.. others are condemned as oligarchy.. what a convenient distinction! ..
an oligarch whore is crying 😂
आज जब telecom और digital technology का इतना महत्व है... तब इससे जुड़े security framework को भी... चाक-चौबंद करना आवश्यक है।
Phone की Security और Network की Security...
