Good morning everyone.
We get back to work. Because growth doesn’t stop at milestones, it’s built in the quiet, consistent actions nobody sees. Stay focused. Stay moving. Stay rising
Growing up, especially in many African societies, education was considered the ultimate key to success. If you went to school and earned a degree, people automatically believed you were guaranteed a successful future. Education was seen as the pathway to a stable job, a good house, a car, and generally a comfortable life.
And to some extent, this is true. Education gives people knowledge and exposure. It opens career opportunities, helps reduce poverty, builds discipline and confidence, and shapes the way people think and view the world.
However, times have changed. Today, thousands of graduates continue to leave universities and colleges every year, yet many remain unemployed. In many cases, getting a job is no longer only about what you know but also who you know.
This reality has pushed some people into crime and left others struggling with stress and depression. At the same time, it has also forced many young people to think differently. Some are turning to entrepreneurship, freelancing, and making money online, even though the systems around them are not always supportive.
Education still matters and will always be important, but it is no longer the only key to success. In today’s world, adaptability, practical skills, consistency, creativity, and opportunity matter just as much.
