No company in the world has infinite manufacturing capacity. All companies are struggling to meet demand. In many European countries with much smaller population waiting is for months.

Hindu epics are not caste-oppression manuals. They are nuanced moral treatises teaching dharma, devotion, duty, and sacrifice. Reducing them to “proof of casteism” is a distortion.

Another fine example of political corruption. Benefitting real estate builders at cost of citizens who need basic public infra. Sad state of affairs.

The tragic stampede at the RCB celebration is an unfortunate accident and is a direct consequence of failed political leadership. The responsibility lies squarely with CM Siddaramaiah and DCM D.K. Shivakumar who wanted to hog the limelight of the victory.
While RCB’s owners bear a moral responsibility, let's be honest: no private franchise can or will go against police advisories if they were strongly communicated. Similarly, no police force will act without political pressure or clearance on such a high-profile public event. From CM & DCM officially inviting fans to a public felicitation at Vidhan Soudha, to cameras following DCM to HAL airport, every step was choreographed for visibility. The Police simply followed the dictates of the DCM and failed to provide strong advice or raise red flags with the urgency that was required. Ultimately, blinded by their thirst for the limelight, CM and DCM failed to apply judgement and caution, causing the loss of 11 precious lives.
Clearly, could this celebration not have waited 48 hours for better crowd control and planning? Was public safety ever considered a real priority?
Let’s not make the Police Commissioner the scapegoat for Congress Govt's push to milk RCB’s victory for political mileage. This was not just poor planning, it was willful negligence driven by political optics.
Now, to the RCB franchise - a paltry Rs 10 lakh compensation is insensitive and heartless to say the least, when you have made thousands of crores from the fans. While it isn’t a legal duty, it’s a moral obligation.
To the cricketers, we fans love this sport and chose to support you in both victory and loss. We expect you to come out and grieve the loss of lives, and support the families of the fans. It’s a basic human thing to do.
@Tejasvi_Surya The cricketers have mostly been silent. Just reposting the franchisee's statement. No words of condolences from their side. So pathetic and heartless. Fans came to see their heroes. They have been let down by RCB franchisee and their cricketers a big time. So sad.
