@Elidwb I'm working on putting out some video tutorials today!
But in short:
1. Drag the body mesh into the first box
2. Drag the clothing mesh into the second box
3. Hit "Init Mesh"
4. Use the tools in the Sculpt tab to move and adjust the clothes
5. Save your edits in the Save tab
Make your avatar's clothes fit however you want!
Refit any clothes to any avatar - no conversion profiles needed.

Extremely psyched to finally release NewFit!
This is a VRChat Unity plugin, which adds clothing physics and body collision, to let you refit clothes however you want.
It can be used to refit clothes from other avatars, or to "pose" and alter the clothes.
It can also:
- Automatically repaint the weights when you are done
- Automatically fix movement clipping
- Save as a toggle
- Save as a blendshape to use with gimmicks
Available on BOOTH and Jinxxy:

@CawfeeG I knew people would come up with crazy edge cases I had not considered, but this is something I really had not considered.
But from the way you describe it... honestly yeah, it should work.
@KiyoXVR For what you are talking about, this tool should allow you to skip blender. The disadvantage would be that you can't manually repaint the weights in this tool (yet). But the Repaint Weights functionality generally works really well, so you shouldn't need to anyway
@KiyoXVR yes definetely.
If you have REALLY big edits, then at the end, for the Repaint Weights dropdown, I would choose "Robust (Body)", instead of "Robust (Volumetric)"
@Ash_Mimi_Sentry Are the wings a part of the main body mesh?
If not, no problem at all.
If yes, you could make it work, but it would take a little more manual input on your part.
You would need to use the plugin's "Delete Geometry" brush to cut out holes for the wings.
@nekuro_fantajia yeah the vast majority of the time you want to leave that setting on. But if you have oddly shaped clothes with ruffles or big folds, stuff like that, it can end up deleting some parts that you actually want to keep
@nekuro_fantajia that's probably just from the Delete Interior Geometry setting.
You can turn that setting off in the options before Init Mesh, or you could use the Delete Geometry tool in the Sculpt tab - right click with that tool will un-delete triangles.
@nekuro_fantajia for instance in the Fabric sliders, most of those things rarely need to be changed. I should separate them out a bit, to make it simpler to understand.
@nekuro_fantajia Thank you for the feedback! This is very helpful.
I think that the thing you mentioned about having presets is smart too.
Some of the things you mentioned already have solutions in the plugin, but it makes me realize that a couple tutorial videos would probably be very helpful
@NeedyAiku Depends what want to do!
The default settings for the Fabric sliders are a good general starting point.
If you hover over any of them, it will show you a little text box, giving you more info on what it is for
@nekuro_fantajia The tutorial is just for if you are trying to put the outfit on a furry, where the body is very, very different.
You don't need to set up with Modular Avatar, you just need to start with the clothes being sort of close. And Modular Avatar is just a fast way to do that
