A nice book on emotional intelligence. It discusses how to understand, manage, and regulate both our own emotions and others more effectively. Introduces the RULER approach (step by step): Recognize, Understand, accurately Label (anxious or sad), Express, and Regulate emotions.
A book by Jiddu Krishnamurti, a philosopher,
says that we need to understand ourselves better to break free from things that control us, such as our thoughts and societal expectations. He urges us to think for ourselves and live more mindfully, which leads to a liberated life.
A tough book without a musical background, but includes some interesting studies. One is that: newborns prefer sounds they heard in the womb, such as their mother's voice or familiar music. Babies tend to favor stories or songs they repeatedly experienced during pregnancy.
