If that’s truly the case, then why are cigarettes and alcohol still freely available? Don’t they ruin far more homes? The only difference is that these industries generate enormous tax revenue, and the government happily thrives on it. Where’s the empathy in that?
I just don’t understand the logic behind banning betting apps and destroying such a massive market overnight. People are capable of deciding what’s right and wrong for themselves — why does the government need to step in and act like a moral guardian? 1/2
