Citrus College isn’t just winning, they’re setting the pace and daring everybody else to keep up.
Coming off a dominant 30-2 season, Citrus locked in their fourth straight Western State Conference-South title and did it in a way that leaves no doubt. This is a program that plays fast, scores in waves, and puts constant pressure on opponents. Averaging over 102 points per game and leading the entire state, they backed it up with back-to-back undefeated conference runs in 2025 and 2026. That’s not a run, that’s a standard they live by.
That standard shows up when it matters most. Back-to-back trips to the 3C2A State Championship Final Four prove this isn’t just about regular-season success; it’s about performing on the biggest stage. Under Head Coach Brett Lauer, Citrus has built something that lasts, moving over 70 players on to the next level and turning the program into a real launching point for what comes next.
Shamar Jones (@Shamarr_j) has officially committed to Citrus College, and the next chapter starts now. A program built on pressure, pace, and winning just added another piece ready to step into that fire.
