There’s a certain mindset that I’ve noticed in many older Zimbabwean business owners. It’s like they feel they’ve done you a favour at great cost to themselves by giving you a job or work.
They consider themselves the “father” of everyone that works for them, and they are genuinely offended by any complaints. They can’t even fathom the idea of anyone disagreeing with them.
@DannythatGuy Haveudzike vanhu ivavo. It's very hard working for a boss that thinks they know your job better than you even when they don't. And this is the case in every boardroom.
@LankyObserver It's always so interesting to watch foreigners lie to each other about Zim & Zimbabweans. It is an uncomfortable reality for a lot of non Zimbabweans that Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans can do better than them and their country. So they find comfort in the lies they tell themselves.
One thing about Zimbabweans, if you do things trying to embarrass us, Unogoga kuzonyara. We dare you. We absolutely have political problems but we are exceptionally capable.
@Pk_hvs It's Political fatigue-induced unproductivity, loss of productive time, attention, investment, initiative caused by prolonged exposure to political conflict, pessimistic narratives, propaganda, and perceptions of national decline. Very expensive for the black people in Zim.
@GeorgeNhewe All 3 are true. We could easily hit 100 Bill. The Min of Finance knows this. They just can't find the numbers that's why they are increasing them bit by bit.
@takunick There a platform launching next week thats trying to fix exactly this problem amongst many other. I can send you an invite to the launch if I can have your email
@nyarydhliwayo@ProsperZW@yanayasmoovy@foodies Congratulations! Don't forget, Individual distribution is hard to sustain. Can't stress this enough. Distribution is cheaper in numbers.
