The idea is in line with one of the earliest deviant sects of Islam, ‘the murji’ah’, who claimed that the actions a person does in this life are not from Iman, rather iman is just something in the heart.
But the one who popularised it in western pop culture was Tupac Shakur.
IMPORTANT QUESTION TO MUHAMMAD YASIR AL HANAFI:
If we rewind back, when the Khariji entity Daesh had control of Iraq/Syria and were going to war with Bashar etc, I didn’t see any Sunni Ulema say, these are the only guys to fight against the Kaafir Bashar and I didn’t see them saying this is a time for unity and not to refute, warn agaisnt and speak up agaisnt the Khawarij, why is that?
Second question, if that Khariji entity (with all their beliefs and Takfeer) was reinstated today and did a ground war on Israel (successful or not) or they sent missiles etc would you yourself as a academic theologian say this is a time for unity with the Khawarij (as they are Muslims according to the Jamhoor opinion regarding the Khawarij, unlike the Rafidha who are kuffar)
Would you advise all refutations and warning stop against Daesh?
Again to add, someone could argue that the Khawarij (who we all condemn and refute) did less killings on Muslims than Iran has with all its proxies combined.
