The 12 Apostles risked their lives to spread Christianity across the globe.
All but one were murdered for doing so — brutally.
Here's what happened to them, starting with Judas... (thread) 🧵
(2/2) Serving people well in this fast-paced, push-button, work-from-home, AI-driven, instant-gratification world—where rates and products change constantly—is challenging.
But this meal reminded me that if I’m going to build a mortgage company that friends and family trust time and time again, I can’t just have low fees and good rate options.
That’s not enough.
The goal is a perfect lending experience. One that leaves our clients well-served, educated, and pain-free.
We’ll never get it perfect, but we’ll get close.
Good things coming from Honest Mortgage - keep an eye out.
Cheers to the entrepreneurs striving to set themselves apart!
(1/2) Elizabeth and I had a great restaurant experience last weekend, and it wasn’t just because of the food.
The owner stopped by to say hello, offered complimentary drinks as an apology for a long wait, and took a moment to tell us how blessed we were to have Glad.
The staff smiled, carried themselves well, and four or five of them interacted with us—pleasantly.
The atmosphere was thoughtful, the service was fast, and the restaurant was spotless.
And the food followed suit.
And even though it was probably the most expensive dinner date we’ve had, we’ll be back.
Because a restaurant is much more than its steak.
A hotel is much more than its room.
A coffee shop is much more than its latte.
And a mortgage company is much more than its loan.
Mortgage Rates Are Rising 📈
Here’s what’s happening and how it could impact you:
1️⃣ 30-Year Fixed Rates just hit 7.04%—the first time over 7% since May.
2️⃣ 15-Year Fixed Rates climbed to 6.27%.
🔼 That’s five consecutive weeks of increases.
💡 But here’s the silver lining:
Fed hints at up to 4 rate cuts this year, sparking hope for better borrowing conditions in 2025.
📅 What You Can Do:
•Buyers: Lock in a rate now before further increases.
•Homeowners: Keep an eye out for refinancing opportunities if rates drop.
