I booked a residential flat for my family in TDI Lake Grove, Kundli (Sonipat) and paid the booking amount on time.
Despite this, TDI Infracorp (India) Ltd. cancelled my flat without any prior notice, written communication, or consent.
Shockingly, I was informed verbally by the builder’s office that my flat had already been cancelled. Till date, no official cancellation letter or written explanation has been provided, despite repeated follow-ups.
My money was held for a long period, causing serious mental stress and financial hardship to my family. Although the booking amount was eventually refunded after pressure, no interest was paid, even though the funds were retained for a long time.
This is not just a financial issue, it is a breach of trust and dignity of a homebuyer.
If payments are made on time, how can builders act arbitrarily? Are they above the law?
This is not an isolated case. Thousands of homebuyers across India face similar harassment.
I urge the concerned authorities to investigate this matter seriously and take strict action, so no other homebuyer has to suffer such mental and financial trauma.
