Assimilation: Look at this video. I only realised at the end that’s these two are sisters. One said she’s Kurdish. The other said she’s Turkish. And her father says he’s Kurdish and that they’re from Kurdistan. What an insight into what Turkeys assimilation policies has done to Kurds in Northern Kurdistan. Who can we blame here? The Turkish state definitely for forcing this people at a young age, some may point to the father, did he have a choice? I don’t know. Let me know what you think in the comments. Nevertheless, what a funny and harsh ending for her! Watch the full video on my Youtube channel and make sure you share this video.
Asîmîlasyon: Li vê vîdyoyê binêrin. Min tenê di dawiyê de fêm kir ku ev her du xwişk in. Yekî got ew kurd e. Yê din got ew tirk e. Û bavê wê dibêje ku ew kurd e û ew ji Kurdistanê ne. Çi feraseteke ku polîtîkayên asîmîlasyonê yên Tirkiyeyê li Bakurê Kurdistanê anîne serê kurdan. Em dikarin li vir kê sûcdar bikin? Dewleta Tirk teqez ji bo ku di temenê biçûk de zora vî gelî bike, dibe ku hinekan îşaret bi bavê xwe bike, ma bijardeya wî hebû? Ez nizanim. Bila ez dizanim ku hûn di şîroveyan de çi difikirin. lê ji bo keçikê çi dawiya xweş, ew şikand. Vîdyoya tevahî li ser kanala min a Youtube temaşe bikin û piştrast bikin ku hûn vê vîdyoyê parve bikin.
Horrific state violence! 🇹🇷
A Turkish policeman savagely kicks a restrained Kurdish girl, then strikes her with a bag-while other officers look on. This is beyond brutality.
"Les Kurdes sont nos alliés fidèles, ce sont nos frères d'armes et nous ne les abandonnerons pas", assure @jnbarrot. "Il va de soi que les Kurdes doivent pouvoir participer pleinement à la réappropriation de leur nation". #DirectAN#QAG
This is absolutely insane.
A former Turkish soldier, Abdullah Agar, revealed live on TV that ISIS members held in the Roj and Hol camps in Rojava, particularly Turkish citizens, are referred to as “fighters and seen as an important resource for Turkey.
As we Kurds have been saying for over a decade, they are now openly admitting it themselves.
Erdogan’s aggression against Rojava and warfare against the Kurds is not only aimed at destabilizing the region and gaining geopolitical power but also at paving the way for the resurgence of ISIS.
The Turkish military just carried out a massacre in Rojava (AANES)
Turkish airforce carried out an airstrike on the house of the Mustafa family in Sarrin - 3 people including 2 children were killed - 5 children have been wounded and others are lightly wounded.
Names of the dead:
Ismail Mustafa (37 years old; father)
Fatma Mustafa (12 years old)
Aisha Mustafa (13 years old)
Names of the wounded:
Husen Mustafa (10 years old)
Xilud Mustafa (8 years old)
Iman Mustafa (5 years old)
Ali Mustafa (2 years old)
Behriye Mustafa (1 year old)
This isn’t an isolated incident - it is systematic.
Before the airstrike on the Mustafa family in Sarrin - the Turkish airforce carried out an airstrike south of Kobane (north of Qara Qozak) on the Hasnaw family where the father and his 2 sons aged 12 and 16 were wounded.
Video 3&4 show the shrapnel wounds from the attack carried out by the Turkish military (I blurred it)
Protesters in Cindirês, northwest Syria, chant "long live Kurdistan" & raise the flag of Kurdistan after Jaysh al-Sharqiya militiamen (a faction sponsored by Turkey) killed 5 Kurdish civilians last night for lighting a fire to celebrate Newroz (Kurdish new year).
Turkish-backed SNA fighters are murdering wounded men in their hospital beds and executing people on the streets in Manbij. Blatant war crimes that need to be addressed immediately.
I appreciate the air strikes against ISIS targets in Syria, but it will not be enough. We have to ensure that the roughly 50,000 ISIS prisoners in northeastern Syria — being primarily held by Kurdish forces — are not released.
We should not allow the Kurdish forces — who helped us destroy ISIS on President Trump’s watch — to be threatened by Turkey or the radical Islamists who have taken over Syria.
Turkey has legitimate concerns regarding different groups that reside in northeastern Syria. But if there is conflict between Turkey and the Syrian Democratic Forces or Turkey attacks Kurdish forces, it will set in motion an ISIS jailbreak, which would be a nightmare for America.
The last time ISIS was in charge, thousands of Europeans and Americans were killed by ISIS plots that originated in Syria.
Furthermore, the reemergence of ISIS creates chaos throughout the region, which is going to lead to higher gas prices for us at home.
Turkey deserves to have a demilitarized buffer zone between northeastern Syria and Turkey to protect Turkish interests. However, if Turkey takes military action against Kurdish forces in Syria, it will jeopardize America’s interests dramatically.
In the past I have drafted sanctions targeting Turkey if they engage in military operations against the Kurdish forces who helped President Trump destroy ISIS. I stand ready to do this again in a bipartisan way.
I spoke today with my friend @JanLipavsky, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs. We discussed the events and the situation in Syria. I emphasized the need to ensure the safety of the Kurdish minority in Syria, who are still facing attacks. The Kurds fought bravely against ISIS and the international community must ensure their protection from attacks by radical Islamists.
A member of the leadership of #Rojava writes to me: at this minute, Turkish-backed Islamist militias are attacking the #Manbij Kurdish area with atrocities & air support from #Turkey. This has to stop. For the new masters of #Damascus, it is the first test: what fate for the #Kurds? What place will they have in the #Syria of tomorrow?
