♦️US intelligence agencies have obtained findings indicating that Tom Barrack has been conducting secret relations with Turkey and acting in line with the interests of the Turkish state in exchange for financial benefits.

♦️The US Congressional Intelligence Committee has launched an investigation into the matter.

♦️In the coming period, it is on the agenda for Tom Barrack to be summoned to testify before Congress.

2. Discussions in Congress on a Safe Zone for Kurds

♦️A group of US senators is demanding the establishment of an official and secure zone aimed at protecting Kurds in Western Kurdistan (Rojava).

♦️This demand is among the topics actively being discussed on the Congressional agenda.

If Syrian government forces continue to advance in the north toward Raqqa, I will push for reimposing Caesar Act sanctions on steroids.

Apparently no one in Syria is listening to me or other U.S. government officials. If this continues, not only will there be bone-crushing sanctions, it will permanently damage relationships between the U.S. and the new Syrian government. If you think we’re BSing - keep it up.

I’ve tried to be fair to the new government, but apparently it’s falling on deaf ears. If you want a conflict with the U.S. Senate and to do permanent damage to the U.S.-Syria relationship - keep going. If you want to salvage the relationship, stop and turnaround.

Shaqra was sanctioned for crimes including "trafficking of Yazidi women & children" & his SNA militia Ahrar al-Sharqiya for Hevrin Khalaf's brutal murder during the 2019 Turkish invasion.
