@hisa_jamget038@o9842841688@nasuo0083@BookYoshimu That's why you can see screenshots of people proving they already purchased it. But some Japanese users keep telling them they're thief for using what they already purchased just cause they didn't use it like what the corporate wanted them to
@hisa_jamget038@o9842841688@nasuo0083@BookYoshimu The Tekken 6 mod isn't actually hurting the corporation in the ones who can use the mod is the people who already had purchase the disc. If pirates found a way to play it too without disc is a different issue. Most people who defend the Tekken mod probably already own the game.
@___4v@Zehimonasy@onepercentdsgn If you look at actual data, Japanese game companies get most of their revenue from overseas, not from Japan. If people overseas didn't purchase and just pirate it the from where the highest revenue data comes from? If people can legally buy it they will.
@super_normalma@54420721_BTMode Some Japanese users are throwing insults like barbarian, thief, monkey, and more worse than that. If you attack people in the first place, you can expect people to retaliate just to spite you
@hisa_jamget038@o9842841688@nasuo0083@BookYoshimu As long as the item is accessible to purchase and it has quality (which most items imported from Japan have), people will definitely buy it even if the tariffs makes it a bit higher
@hisa_jamget038@o9842841688@nasuo0083@BookYoshimu Most Japanese imports in my country is approximately doubled or tripled the price, and people still bought it. We already understand the pricing difference, but probably still, putting a $90 price tag to an $20 items is a bit steep I think.
@hisa_jamget038@nasuo0083@BookYoshimu Then just do localization and put it on the price. People will still buy it if they can purchase normally. Most people already understand goods from another country will be more expensive.
@kotaro03873195 Sadly, it's true. Your reputation as a based country just plummeting down cause of some loud crybabies crying about small things like the Tekken 6 mod. The image from all these decades that Japanese are based come crumbling down in just a few days. Not a week, even
@Zehimonasy@onepercentdsgn This is an indisputable fact, or else the game companies wouldn't even dare to expand to overseas in the first place. The ones who fail because piracy is the ones that didn't even have the quality to begin with. Cause if your game is good, people would still buy it regardless
@Zehimonasy@onepercentdsgn The corporate overlords is smart, that's why they can see the huge benefit compared to the little risk of piracy happening. Much more people would buy the goods legally than pirates pirating it, that's the risk these companies are taking and they are successful doing it.
