@Azic1900 @morhpeo @thewitcher Even if there wasn't, community would fix that but I do appreciate it.
It's just disappointing, that in a time where hardware prices are what they are with lot of people unable to run new releases we get a situation like this.
I do trust them tho, so I hope the reason is valid.

@morhpeo @thewitcher That's also my point, that they already did do a next-gen update to use and utilize newer hardware in 2022 and I can't wrap my head around of what they could be adding to a DLC to hike requirements, unless the whole game is being rehauled.
Regardless I trust them that's it not BS

@Azic1900 @morhpeo @thewitcher I do realize that and Windows 11 as a requirement is a tough pill to swallow, but at least it's free.
What people seem to forget is that the next gen update already happened in back 2022.
So my question is, what exactly are they adding to the game to make it so much more taxing?

I'm fine with having to skip on newer releases, I won't be able to run Witcher 4 for sure.
But a sudden jump from a card released in 2012 being a minimal spec to a 2017 card for a an 11 year old game? Something's not right

@thewitcher This might be me ranting or misunderstanding what "minimal" means, but comparing last minimal specs update in 2024 (left) it feels like a slap in the face.
How do we go from:
Minimal RAM from 6GB to 12GB
Minimal GPU 660 to 1660
Hope this will be addressed.

@thewitcher I'm hyped for the release, spent hundreds of hours in the game.
But man, this part - this sucks.
I was able to play the game on 1650 (integrated) graphics on higher settings, now it's not even a minimal requirement...
What are you guys doing to the game? In a time like this too?
