As we get closer to Saturday's NVDems election, folks need to understand the level of rot and decay that Judith has overseen as Chair. Her own talking points help to paint a clear picture of how terrible of a job she and her friends have done since she first took over (1/8)
This memo comprises talking points that Judith and her team are using to justify her re-election. Not only is it pathetic for her to stand behind numbers so woefully substandard, her team does not give the indication that they know any better (2/8)
The NVDems before Judith ran multimillion $$$ coordinated campaigns that reached 1M+ voters and made direct contact by canvass and by phone. Some of these field numbers are far too underwhelming to win a State Senate seat, let along a Statewide race (3/8)
NVDems is now a party that makes 5,500 canvass attempts (INCLUDING staff) during a general election. Daniel Corona knocked a similar amount by himself... in 2016 when he ran for Mayor of West Wendover. Monroe-Moreno could not win re-election to the Assembly on such a low metric
NVDems made 61K phone calls. As the Campaign Manager for Nevadans for Equal Rights which won #YesOn1, our paid phones made that amount of calls... in the 2.5 months leading up to the election (5/8)
In an ideal world, where a field organizer on a coordinated campaign should have a minimum of 30-50 regular volunteers heading into GOTV of a midterm campaign, 232 regular volunteers barely even covers Washoe County, let alone the rest of the State (6/8)
Governor Sisolak and LG Cano-Burkhead lost their elections by 1.4% and 3.7% respectively, otherwise known as field margins to those of us who actually work on elections. Judith and her team have compiled here the postportem for those two races, but they don't even know it (7/8)
If Judith and her team were the slightest bit aware of how badly they dropped the ball, even she would be too ashamed to run for re-election. Nevada Democrats cannot allow her to make Nevada a laughing stock in 2024. Her #TenureOfFailure must end before it's too late (8/8)
As the former Chair of the NSDP, I know how strong our state party has been in the past and can be again. But to do that, we need new leadership. That is why I’m supporting Assemblywoman Daniele Monroe-Moreno and the Democratic Unity Slate in the upcoming party elections.
First, we learned she's paying her cronies from state party funds — and now this.
It seems like the more we learn about Judith Whitmer, the worse it gets. https://t.co/AjaJQPNack
While I'm relieved that this story is finally getting the coverage it deserves after so many of us continuously sounding the alarm bells, I can't stop thinking about the damage that Judith and co have done to destroy this party. #nvpol (1/10)
After the past two years, it's clear we need a change in State Party leadership. That's why I'm joining 100+ Nevadans in endorsing Assemblywoman @Daniele4NV & the #NVDemUnitySlate – they're the right leaders at the right time to unify & rebuild NV Dems moving forward.
@aprilcore You would think the guy they pay 8 grand a month for IT services could do a better job. And the party secretary should ask those in attendance for a last name.
Exciting news: I’ve decided to run for @NVDems Chair alongside a diverse group of dedicated party activists & organizers.
Going into 2024, Nevada Democrats deserve new leadership dedicated to unity, transparency, & electing Democrats at every level. #NVDemUnitySlate
For every dollar you give to a California Senate primary, you must match a donation to Montana, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, or Michigan. Them’s the rules.
