A huge thank you to three dedicated board members for their years of service and commitment to education-based athletics:
π Karl Morrin β 6 years, including the past year as Board President
π Dennis Birr β 7 years, including a year as Board President
π Jill Stobber β 5 years
Thank you for your leadership, support, and the impact you've made on our student-athletes, schools, and communities. We appreciate all you've done and wish you the best in the future!
@Dom_Cotroneo Any comments about Mitchell coming out of the game last night in the ninth? Assumed he may have tweaked something on his ground ball out. But see he is back in there today
@AdamMcCalvy Adam - Does he have a chance of being on the opening day roster and if so, is it to replace Perkins or Mitchell? Love Mitchell and he obviously has the highest ceiling of the three, but he has struggled this spring.
Educational Leaders, You lead people you care about
while carrying out policies you did not create and do not always agree with.
You make decisions knowing someone will be unhappy no matter what you choose.
You deal with pressure from the state, the board, parents, and staff often all at the same time.
You handle safety issues, discipline, staffing shortages, budgets, tough conversations, and shifting mandates.
Most of it happens behind the scenes, where no one ever sees the weight you carry.
And still, you show up.
You keep leading.
You keep trying to support teachers and keep things moving in a job that asks more than most people realize.
So to every school and district level leader, in case no one has told you lately! Thank you! We are Thankful for all you do for the teachers, staff, and students.
What a morning in Potosi, Wisconsin! Six districts brought all of their employees together. So fun, incredible group, room full of talent. Have a great Halloween and reminder of the year. Thanks for the awesome opportunity!
Congrats to the 2025 WIAA Scholar Athlete Award winners!π π
Out of 806 nominated seniors from 415 high schools statewide, these 32 standouts rose to the top. Way to represent excellence in the classroom & on the field!π

A sad day. Remember vividly nights with the radio under the covers listening to west coast games and summer days shooting hoops in the driveway with Ueck's voice as the background.
Itβs the day we all hoped would never come. Bob Uecker, the voice of the Brewers for the last 54 years and βMr. Baseballβ to fans around the world, passed away overnight, according to his family and the team. He was 90.
Summers in Wisconsin will never be the same.
With the PC win on Friday night, they will play in the State Championship Game at Camp Randall on Thursday, November 21st at 10am. School will be cancelled for all students. We encourage all students, staff and fans to attend the game and cheer on PC Football!
