@Liu_eroteme@FatherMcKennaa 1st idea is solid, I just don't know how well it'd actually work out
2nd is better though. Much more effective and widespread
@Liu_eroteme@FatherMcKennaa I feel what you're saying and I do agree that this type of treatment should be cheap/free. I just don't know the solution. If we had gov funding it could make it cheaper, but then the gov would have their hands in it and fuck that
@Liu_eroteme@FatherMcKennaa think it should be affordable at the same time. Idk, I'm not an expert. I'm just a dude who's done his fair share of psychs and yaps on twitter about it occasionally
Didn't mean to ramble on like that. Just spitballing some ideas tbh
@Liu_eroteme@FatherMcKennaa quality drugs, and people who know what theyre doing. I mean, a lot of these researchers were studying these drugs when they were illegal. I'm sure some risked their freedom and others lost it altogether. They deserve to make a living for their hard work and sacrifices. I also 2/
@Liu_eroteme@FatherMcKennaa Mushrooms(and all drugs)should be decriminalized, but that doesn't mean you can't have guided trips with a professional in that field. Psychedelic therapy shouldn't be locked behind healthcare/insurance agencies that can price gouge to make it more expensive for the averge person
Also I know drug use is a slippery slope, and that this post is a joke, so I'm not exactly promoting it, just don't feel too bad for being on drugs if they're literally helping you not want to die(and it's better to see a psychiatrist and therapist if you're able to do so)
Not long term, but if they can help you cope&not want to kill yourself, I'd count that as progress, even if it's not the healthiest route
I'm talking more about casual use than addiction/abuse I guess, either way it can be progress in an indirect way
@frenchtrollge@nocontextmemes I wake up in the middle of the night to help lucid dream sometimes
Never experienced sleep paralysis but it sounds interesting for sure
