@Schnerb_ At least yours came mostly black 😂 If it were up to me this thing would have almost no chrome on it, but I wasn’t looking for a bike when this one came along so I’m just making the best of it. It’s still an awesome bike with the big bore kit and cams. It’s rowdy for a hawg.
@Schnerb_ I still haven’t got my truck fixed from loaning it to my mom for awhile 😂 headgasket let go and it had high mileage anyway so I’m rebuilding the whole damn thing.
All a man needs in life. Love is cool and all until it’s not, then you wish you never felt it.
@Schnerb_ I got the bagger so my lady would be comfortable riding with me and I could load it down with crap for long rides, and the other harley came with it, it needs some engine work. Once it’s fixed if I’m not just in love with it I’m probably gonna see about selling it and getting one
@Schnerb_ I average about 1500-3000miles a year 😂 so you got me beat. Still alive, life is doing its thing. ups and downs every year. You doing good man?
@Schnerb_ Weird I just got the notification for this. Hell yeah man! Sweet machine! I’m wanting another sportbike or an africa twin, but I gotta sell one or two before I do that, can’t afford insurance on 5 bikes. These are the current ones.
@Schnerb_ I’ve yet to see a used Tenere, I figured they were about the same lol
But yeah they are pricey as fuck… and to be honest I’ll have to be pretty impressed when I finally ride one, the Ultra is a whole different class of bike, but bro they make cooler liners for the bags 😂
@Schnerb_ That being said I’m thoroughly impressed by the Ultra classic, that thing moves plenty good for an 800lb bike.
The springer might be the most comfortable riding position on a bike I’ve ever felt, it’s wild how natural it feels.
@Schnerb_ Hell yeah. My ideal bike selection would be my dirtbike/supermoto, the 113ci chopper I’m planning on buying from my buddy, and an africa twin. There’s a lot of 4 lane long haul riding down in my parts, but not every day is a long distance riding kind of day hence the sumo.
@Schnerb_ Hell yeah! There really is no ideal starter bike other than one you like and that you can handle. I started out riding dirtbikes at 4 years old. Offroad riding is a whole other level of learning control, plus I started so young it’s like an extra body part to me…
