@JaredKLindquist Isn't that how we wound up with Disney's "cheap-quel" phase? All of the direct-to-video sequels made by the TV production crews, such as "Return of Jafar" or the "Lion King" and "The Little Mermaid" sequels.
@JaredKLindquist As far as practicality, you'll want the most HD you can get. I tried playing Danganronpa in an Oculus Rift S, on a theater-size virtual screen. I got a headache trying to read the text-boxes after a while, as if I were trying to read without my glasses. Higher HD would've helped.
@JaredKLindquist I'm extremely near-sighted, and yes, if you need glasses IRL, you still need glasses in VR/AR. It's basically projecting a different view into each eye, which is no different than how vision works in real-life. There are prescription lenses you can put into headsets, though.
@JaredKLindquist Anyways, why not something simpler for now, like some sketches of Daisy's activities/fretting during her day off, and then just do the finished artwork when you feel more up to it? That way, people can see the direction you want to go without cutting your break short.
@JaredKLindquist I know what you mean. I'm a Comp. Sci major, and I want to program a game idea I've had in my head for a while, but after working on my classwork, the last thing I want to do is more coding.
@JaredKLindquist Yeah, my prediction is that Jack Black's probably going to carry the whole movie. I'm just too used to Charles Martinet as Mario to not feel weird hearing Pratt's voice.
@Rapscallion_Art You could go the Duke Nukem route. That one referred to health as "Ego". You wouldn't necessarily need ways to heal, but ways to boost bravado and hype each other up. You could even keep your monster-eating mechanic. Feels pretty badass to eat a giant monster you just killed
@JaredKLindquist Legit question, what series are you talking about? Because that description alone, I can think of two different occasions where I'm pretty sure that happened.
@JaredKLindquist Makes sense. I was kind of curious, I'm a comp. sci student at university and took a full set of 3D modeling courses, and stuff like that never came up, even when the teacher was talking about real-world experience.
