”But now the days grow short
I'm in the autumn of the year
And now I think of my life
As vintage wine from fine old kegs
From the brim to the dregs
And it poured sweet and clear
It was a very good year.”
Haikean upea Sinatran esittämänä.
Roska silmässä kuuntelen.
@SuviAnneSiimes@hsfi@Tilastokeskus Sama havainto. Mutta ne löytää googlettamalla, kun muistaa joitakin avainsanoja. HS:n oma haku toimii huonommin, mikä on outoa.
The visibility of all pro‑Ukrainian accounts, including mine, has dropped dramatically. Please help me fight the algorithm by visiting my profile and boosting posts about today’s Russian war crimes.
Pic for attention.
Hei, tämä on uusi tilini. Olisiko mahdollista, että retweettaisit tämän?
Vanha X-tilini jäähdytettiin sananvapauden vastustajien pyynnöstä. Valitettavasti X alistui diktatuurien ja heidän liittolaistensa paineille, ja menetin noin 15 000 seuraajaa.
How Russia Outsmarted the Most Incompetent Team in Modern American Politics.
Anyone who has ever dealt with the Russians knows exactly what this is. This is Kremlin 101. They hand you a document built entirely around their strategic objectives, call it a “proposal,” and sit back to see whether you’re competent enough to recognize the trap. Every serious diplomat on earth is trained to spot this move instantly.
And that’s why this fiasco is so humiliating for Trump and his team. They didn’t just miss the obvious signals. They didn’t just fail the basic test of diplomatic literacy. They took a Kremlin authored wish list, waved it around as a breakthrough peace plan, and demanded Ukraine accept it by Thursday.
This is not how a functioning administration operates. This is how amateurs get played.
Nine months of briefings. Hundreds of meetings. World leaders spoon feeding Trump the basics. Zelensky literally forced to pull out maps before Trump snapped he was “tired of maps.” And after all that, the man still couldn’t identify the most transparent piece of Russian manipulation imaginable.
Recognizing a Kremlin trap is the minimum requirement for anyone involved in foreign policy. Trump’s team didn’t clear that bar by a mile. They didn’t even see the bar. They walked right into Moscow’s setup with the eager confidence of people who have no idea how badly they’re embarrassing themselves.
This is incompetence as a governing principle.
If the US for business reasons sells out Ukraine and European security, siding with Putin instead, then this would mean the destruction of the West as we know it.
”If Europe wants a better relationship with Mr. Trump, it should start acting like a winner.”
