@LateLagMC The FPS improvements are gone in the latest Preview, and the game now runs the same as it did with UWP.
Ray tracing runs at 33 FPS, and VV has frequent FPS drops to 30. Previously, both were running at 60 maxed out. Fancy has FPS drops too, but not as extreme. Disappointing.
@incyada@Mega_Spud It feels like you are all misunderstanding the fix and are thinking that the whole "lighting up campfires/TNT/candles with Fire Aspect" feature was removed. It was not. You can still light up campfires, TNT, and candles with a Fire Aspect weapon.
@incyada@Mega_Spud Why would it be a feature? Does hitting an entity with a Sharpness book make you deal more damage? Does using a Silk Touch book on a grass block drop the grass block? No.
It doesn't make sense for it to be a feature when no other book does the same.
@lalor0921@Mega_Spud The game is probably running on your integrated graphics card. Open Windows search, type Graphics settings, click on Add Microsoft Store app, select Minecraft Preview, and set the GPU preference to High Performance.
@agentms_ How do I change the texture of the experience bar in the Java Aspects resource pack? I'm trying to change it to the rainbow experience bar from Bedrock Tweaks.
@agentms_ If you have an RTX graphics card, then I believe you were experiencing https://t.co/5I29wPhVcm, which has been fixed in 1.19.80. You should test this again.
I tried it myself with an RTX 3060 and the FPS was fine when spawning 50 zombified piglins.
@Prowl8413 I'm more interested in visual parity. One of the things I dislike the most is seeing all the visual differences. Both games should look exactly the same.
@HelenAngel@matthew66302241 "We've decided not to add the functionality for these blocks for this update as we want to make sure that they're useful for the overall gameplay. We have a great idea for them for the next major themed update..."
