Sincerity is coded as cringe these days because all of us are waiting for the other shoe to drop, so to speak. We all wait for the punchline or the next bombshell of negativity.

We wait to learn that the person is a fraud grifter, that they are paid shills, or these days that maybe they are even AI. We may not know exactly how we are getting fucked, but we all wait with bated breath, understanding it’s coming.

Sometimes it’s good to remember to appreciate things for what they are, moments for when they are, and people especially for who they are.

This whole thing with SAO is wholesome and I want to champion more of that personally.
