The On-Screen Marking (OSM) to evaluate CBSE Class XII Examination 2026 results is a digital evaluation system designed to improve accuracy, transparency and efficiency in the assessment of answer scripts. School Management Committee (SMC) play a vital role in strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) under the NIPUN Bharat Mission, in line with the vision of #NEP2020 which prioritizes universal #FLN by Grade 2. By ensuring active participation of parents and the community, they help create nurturing and inclusive learning environments.

SMC encourage the use of the mother tongue or local language in early grades, promote reading habits through community-supported reading corners, organize storytelling sessions and support parent-led reading initiatives that make learning more engaging and meaningful for children. School Management Committee (SMC) Guidelines will be launched on 6th May 2026.
