This seems to be a thing now in Ontario. My 86 year old Mom had a stroke and was in the hospital for a month. She also had a UTI. They wouldn’t treat it. Said they don’t treat them. Then she finally got transferred to a different floor right before discharge and we found a doc with some common sense who treated it.
