The Plenary session was chaired by the Temporary Speaker Hon. James Dawa.
The Chairperson of the Committee on Finance Budget and Appropriations Hon. Manza Beja, moved a motion of adoption of the Second Quarter Revenue Report
The students who were led by their teachers Ms Maurine Kadero and Mr. Dennis Ogero. sat through the plenary session in order to better understand the roles of the assembly and service delivery. The students were welcomed by the assembly leadership and the Clerk Madam Fatuma
Finance Budget and Appropriations on the First Quarter Revenue Report for Fy 2025/2026.
The Reports detailed the performance of revenue for the Fy 2024/ 2025 and Fy 2025/2026.
The motions were deliberated on and passed by the House. Plenary sessions will resume on May 12th 2026

The motions were deliberated and supported by members of the House. The Report on the sources of alternative sources of energy had an amendment motion moved by the Hon. James Dawa that urged the House to summon the CEC Environment and Natural resources for further deliberation.
