Atiku Abubakar’s sins in Kano was saying "Poverty is not a virtue and God doesn't prioritise the prayers of a poor man over that of the rich".
His unfavourable anti-shariah position is another reason some northern Conservatives don't really like him.
Lastly, he's seen as to 'Southern friendly' in many quarters. Aside these, nothing else. He's too liberal for Kwankwassiyah.
The resounding chants, electrifying atmosphere, and widespread enthusiasm that herald the arrival of Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu-Danladi at the mega rally held in Ilorin today in support of the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kwara North for Kwara State clearly reflects the unwavering support of the people of Kwara State for Kwara North Agenda.
This remarkable show of solidarity underscores the confidence reposed by the people of Kwara State in the ability of Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu-Danladi to consolidate and advance the successes of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Throwback to the moment Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar officially declared his intention to run for Governor of Kwara State.
The turnout, the energy was a clear sign that the movement for inclusive progress is gaining strength.

Some are triggered. This quote refers to all sectors/ hierarchies of leadership/ CivilS repress next in liners, Govs fight dirty with cabinet members, private sector staff undermine subordinates. What are you personalising? Build leaders so Nigeria improves & is sustainable.
If you listen to Peter Obi ramble like he’s in a beer parlor and still think he should lead this country, you’re not just unserious, you’re an enemy of Nigeria.
It took just two years out of the Captain's Cabin for some deck officers to realise that the ship is sinking and needs to be rescued. You've got to be amazed by their perfect timing. 😊
My brother, @KingErefitei.
Shari’a Law is a very difficult course. That is why it is in such high demand by employers.
So NNPC is lucky to have those Hausa people with Sharia Law degrees working for them.
Almost all Shari’a law undergraduates have job offers waiting for them from NNPC, FIRS, CBN, etc, even before they graduate.
And if at all they choose any of these offers and agree to remain in Nigeria, we should all bow in gratitude to them.
Because, normally, most of them end up in NASA, Google, SpaceX, Rolls-Royce, OpenAI, or some major corporation in some far flung part of the world.
Have you ever seen an unemployed Shari’a Law graduate?
In fact one of them from my village, Ado, has just been employed by FIFA to oversee their Refereeing Department. He is moving to their headquarters in Zurich next week.
Subjects covered by first year undergraduates studying Shari’a Law include:
1.Uṣūl al-Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence)
2.Fiqh al-ʿIbādāt (Jurisprudence of Worship)
3.Fiqh al-Muʿāmalāt (Commercial/Transactional Law)
4. Fiqh al-Aḥwāl al-Shakhṣiyya (Personal Status Law: marriage, divorce, inheritance)
5.Fiqh al-Jināyāt (Islamic Criminal Law)
6.Qawāʿid al-Fiqhiyya (Legal Maxims)
7.Tafsīr (Qur’anic Exegesis)
8. ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth (Sciences of Hadith)
9. Naṣṣ al-Fiqh (Classical Fiqh Texts Reading)
10.Al-Siyāsa al-Sharʿiyya (Islamic Political Thought)
11.Tarikh al-Tashrīʿ al-Islāmī (History of Islamic Legislation).
And that is just the first year!
And one has to learn these courses and pass their exams in both Arabic and English!
These are not beans….
So Shari’a Law is not just for anybody. It defies JAMB cut off marks.
The course is more difficult (by far) than Petroleum Engineering.
I should know, I’m a Petroleum Engineer.

Peter Obi’s budget in 2012 shows that he budgeted N200m to maintain his Peugeot 406, that is $1.2m them. At the same time Obi still budgeted a sum of 430 million naira( 2.6 million dollars) for transport and travels in the same year!
Lol 😆
