@realJohnDouglas For the one in authority is Godβs servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are Godβs servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer." (Romans 13:4)
@anndgrey Innocent until proven guilty.. is a fundamental legal and human rights standard. Pointing out that excessive discipline/abuse is wrong doesn't mean we throw due process out the window.
Money can buy a Range Rover, but it can't buy back your dignity, peace, health, or life. If your standard is βhe can abuse me as long as he pays me,β youβre not describing a relationship youβre describing a well-funded prison.... π€¦πΎββοΈ

@mrr_adusu_xxi@JoyNewsOnTV It is a factor bro. When you are in tertiary and you don't study you feel the consequences by failing and resiting for that paper. But in basic school there's no consequence when students don't learn or take class seriously
@mrr_adusu_xxi@JoyNewsOnTV Teachers aren't allowed to discipline students. So students don't care about learning. These same students are not repeated after they fail their exams.
