@spiketeejoint This film takes its roots from screwball comedy films, French films and of course, Scorsese (who is also influenced by those same films).
The film isn't perfect, but it does a hell of a job with what it is trying to do.

@spiketeejoint That's the Plainest and simplest way to explain it. It accentuates and exaggerates the worst and best (meh) parts of our two political parties and the movements they project (liberals vs conservatives). It basically takes the Overton window and throws a fat ass rock in it.
