@sola_chad@farmingandJesus I praise God to witness my father become a Christian one year before his death. I had the privilege to see him die. God allowed us to witness his transformation at his death. He was talking to his grandparents and said, “ you have changed.” Then he said “ I’m changing”.
@Renatta I mocked my spiritual mother before I became Christian. I sent her a Mother’s Day letter letting her know how much she meant in sharing Jesus all those years. He used her mightily.
@nickimoraa The spirit of the Ides in the medical community is from the last week of February to the 3rd week of March. We all say, “beware the Ides!!!!”.
This paragraph by C.S. Lewis, written in 1948, still hits hard:
“If we are all going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible and human things—praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts—not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. They may break our bodies (a microbe can do that) but they need not dominate our minds.”
