Replaced the doors that came with the shed. They move much more smoothly now. Still needed to paint and weatherproof them. Got the walls framed out and hung the whiteboard wall and the pegboards. Put a cord on this light i picked up at a thrift store. Everything is coming along nicely.
Have you ever had an injury or illness for so long that one day you realize you are feeling pretty good that day, almost normal, and that hits you so hard you cry. I'm having a good day. 😊
I'd say the USA just due to the overwhelming variety of cultures that have come here and called it home. Bringing their culinary knowledge and then having the opportunity to experiment with spices and techniques that may not have been available to them in their country to bring something entirely new into existence.
Now, to my issue, I have no idea how to get the soup beans to ham ratio correct since I'm no longer cooking for 3 sons, their cousins, and all their friends. I don't think I have enough beans, but I hate leftovers. And it's not like you can add more beans since they take 6 hours to cook. I DON'T pre-soak as I've had them turn sour before. I actually weighed my beans this time (200g of pinto and 100g of white northern). So next time, I'll add 50% more. Though no one will complain that there is a 1/4 of a ham shank to 300g of beans.
