One of many highlights from the weekend. I chose this one first because of how many players were involved. A well executed "pickle" is always fun to watch. Just look where everyone ended up. They were all in position and ready if more throws were needed.
The first picture is how they walked off the field a month ago after a successful summer season. It's also how they will take the field this weekend in the KGF Fall Showcase to kick off the fall season. If you are near Georgetown this weekend come check them out.
Unfortunately due to weather conditions our Sunday games were canceled. However Ky Freedom 16u had a very positive Saturday going 3-1 for the day!
My stats: 2W, 1L, 1S/1SO, 7.2IP, 9K, 1W, .625BA, .727OBP

We played last weekend and although we got rained out on Sunday it was a great experience! Thank you to all of the coaches that came out! My pitching stats from last weekend: 8.2 innings, 9H 1R 0BB 13Ks .808 ERA @UVAWiseSB@KassieD23@C_Delahaba5@EKU_Softball@UKCoachLawson
Last but not least we introduce, #3, Samantha. She's our newest addition and her timing couldn't be better. She brings speed, hustle, and a solid bat to the lineup as you can see below. Her next highlights will be in a Freedom uniform. Welcome aboard Sam!
@DurstonSamantha
Today we highlight another southpaw, #35, Olivia. She's tough to strikeout, been on the mound for the front end of a strike em out throw em out, and provided a key walk off hit so far this year.
Next up we have #34, Carleigh. She's a student of the game and always looking to stay one step ahead of the opponent. She'll take a double play at 2B anytime she can get it.
On this Independence day we bring to you, #20, Emma. Most days you'll catch her on the mound and when she's not starting she's always ready to go in. She's also capable of stretching it out at first base to grab an out.
Next up we have #14, Ashley. She plays any position asked but her passion is catching. She'll be looking to throw you out if you happen to get on base.
Today we have, #11, Kaitlyn. Most days you'll catch her leading off. She's not afraid to layout for anything within her reach and you surely don't want to test that arm tagging up.
Today we highlight #9, RyLeigh. She may be quiet but her bat isn't. She just had a breakout weekend in Pigeon Forge. She does whatever is needed of her from catching to playing 2B and 3B.
She's become a staple in the outfield, #7, Mya. After a broken finger in the fall she's come back in full force to let everyone know she's back in action. She's been sneaking in a few stolen bases also.
Today we bring to you a southpaw, #5, Kennedy. She's one of our newest additions but you wouldn't know the way she fit right in. You'll catch her playing OF, 1st, and pitching.
