A large majority of Canadians now view the carbon tax as just a tax that makes life more unaffordable and does nothing for the environment.
Share if you agree it’s time to axe the carbon tax in 2023.

Ironically, my family doctor died in 2021 from a heart attack while cross country skiing (I may have informed you about this at the time, or shortly after). He was a nice and genuine man, but believed in vaccination. I have no doubt that he took the covid shots. As you can surmise, he was healthy, not obese etc. ...
So... although McGraw Hill is a huge publisher in education, they are not the largest. They might own 15-20% of the market (total... more, or less depending on the discipline). Pearson and Cengage/Nelson both have a larger imprint on US education. McGraw does not have a monopoly on the educational publishing system. I don't refute any of the points that are brought up in this post... only this assertation.
@WarmindX@solari_the@clifhighvideos I don't think so, Chris. Until "quantum" computing proves something (anything) its just another form of fairy dust. The FUD that it will break a bunch of codes is just that.
For now, I'll stick with the proof of work BTC. That tragic change that ETH made is a mistake.
I've followed you for quite a while @solari_the and really like much of your economic analysis. Although I will cede that BTC is not really private, I think some of your arguments against it are weak. In particular, the 21MM limit can be 'easily removed by a secret governance system'. I fail to see how that's possible. Bitcoin Cash and every other attempted contentious hard fork prove that the 21 million cap is not just code — it is the single most defended economic consensus in the network’s history. Any attempt to remove it would create a new minority coin and leave the original 21-million-cap Bitcoin intact and dominant. That is exactly why, after 16 years and dozens of fork attempts, the cap has never been seriously threatened.
Each time a fork has been initiated, BTC gets stronger.
@MichealMartinTD As a politician, do you pay attention when you have egregious ratios... I mean, you are really getting slammed here. As someone who simply blows in the wind to the next popular thing, I would think that would make an impression.
@JoelVinette@MarkJCarney ... um, no. This take is not going well. Sadly, Mark Carney is a London eschewing bankster. He is not looking out for you, me, or anyone on this post.
