Well, it’s pretty much how I figured it would be. Everybody who already agreed with Candace thinks she absolutely destroyed Andrew, and everybody who already agreed with Andrew thinks he absolutely destroyed Candace.
But nobody can tell me yet, where Candace actually defended her claim, which was “the evidence is overwhelming that Tyler Robinson is a patsy set up by the federal government.” She had absolutely no evidence for this claim much less any convincing logical argument for it. I know that regular folks who aren’t debate bros don’t really understand debates, and think that they are just public arguments that are won by vibes and feelings, but debate is just like a game of chess. There are valid and invalid moves. There are rules. It’s not just picking the person you like best. But that won’t matter to people who already had their mind made up based on cult of personality. This debate has shown me just how badly Covid broke a lot of people’s brains. It woke them up to the reality of the world for the first time, and they’re still trying to recover. They went from thinking everything is exactly as it appears to be to thinking everything is a conspiracy of the federal government and or the Jews. There’s no in between and there’s no reasoning with them. I’m guessing evidence of this will be right here in the replies to this post.
