@awitsjocelyn Personally I would have liked to see more disability rep in Degrassi but even with their limited amount of disabled characters, it was still substantially better than other shows. Plus I don’t mind head-cannoning characters.

@awitsjocelyn I heavily agree. I mean the attachments with Declan and Holly J were more than bordering unhealthy and she had no healthy coping mechanisms. Neurodivergent and mentally Ill people gravitate towards eachother which is why she’s such good friends with Eli and dates Imogen.

@awitsjocelyn Was a freshman when I started Degrassi and now I’m a junior. I was in public school until last week. Degrassi helped me connect with not only my dad (who introduced me) but to myself. I’m autistic and have always had a hard time finding my real self.
